Energy Advice
Do you need help with your energy bills? Would you like support to understand your options?
Our Energy Advice service supports Disabled people living in the London Borough of Richmond with their electricity and gas bills.
We provide free one to one support to help people reduce their energy bills and become more confident in understanding and managing their bills.
Our Energy Advisor also works closely with partners that can offer practical advice on issues including damp and mould, ventilation and making your home more energy efficient.
We provide advice online, over the phone and face-to-face and carry out home visits.

What the service provides
Our Energy Advice service can support you to:
- Create a tailored energy action plan for your household
- Understand your bills and energy use
- Reduce your energy bills
- Switch suppliers or tariffs
- Resolve supplier issues
- Negotiate payment plans with your provider
- Apply for grants to help with energy debt
- Apply for the Priority Services Register
- Advice on assistance with meter readings that are inaccessible for you
- Advice on Smart Meters
- Access other services at RAID and other services that can help you with energy saving actions.
