Housing Campaign Workshops
Housing Campaign Workshops: Learn, Plan and Take Action!
Do you want to campaign for change and learn tactics for housing justice?
We all want to live in a home that meets our needs but often Disabled people face additional challenges with inaccessible housing, disrepairs, communication barriers and discrimination.

Join RAID and Inclusion London for a series of workshops over the next few months.
Our workshops are aimed at empowering Disabled people with the knowledge and tools to support and advance campaigns to achieve their rights.
You will gain valuable insights and advice on effective housing campaign strategies and tactics.
This is your chance to learn from an expert and discuss practical steps to shape your housing campaign. Come and talk tactics, gain insights and connect with others who are passionate about housing justice!
The workshops will be facilitated by Jon Abrams, Campaigns and Justice Coordinator, Inclusion London.
With over 20 years of experience in Disabled People’s Organisations, Jon is well-equipped to guide you on impactful campaigning, change-making and ensuring that Disabled people have a strong voice in decision-making processes.
You will help prioritise what our workshops will cover, including:
- Choosing Your Campaign Priority: From Ideas to Focused Action
- Breaking Barriers: Understanding the Social Model of Disability and the Fight for Disability Rights
- Understanding the role of the local authority: Local Authority Housing Powers
- Strategic Influence: Mastering Power Mapping for Effective Campaigns and Influencing
- Empower Your Voice: Influencing Skills for Disability Rights Advocates
- Crafting Effective Tactics: Influencing Local Housing Policy
