BuddyUp Volunteers Wanted!

Our BuddyUp service is looking for volunteers aged 16+ to support young people with a disability or long-term health condition living in Kingston or Richmond.

A ‘Buddy’ spends a couple of hours, twice a month with a young person, helping them build independence and confidence, learn life skills, get out in their community and have fun along the way :-)

If you or someone you know would like to get involved and become a ‘Buddy’ and want further details on the service, please have a look here.

Volunteers must:

  • Be 16 or older
  • Be able to travel to Richmond or Kingston
  • Commit to 4 hours per month for 6 months.

Volunteers receive training, as well as the opportunity to gain valuable experience, develop skills for their CV and make a meaningful difference to a young person’s life.
