Government Announces Free Bus Travel for Disabled People

Great news for Disabled people! 📣🎉
The government has announced that Disabled people in England will be able to travel by bus for free 24/7 from 1 April 2027.
Currently, disabled bus passes are only eligible for use between the hours of 9.30am and 11pm on weekdays, making it difficult for people to get to work or attend later evening events.

The disability charity Scope said the move would “remove barriers to everyday life”.
