Time to Shine Awards 2026
To celebrate the United Nations International Day of Disabled People (IDDP) 2026 RAID, Skylarks and The People Hive are holding an Awards event.
IDDP events are held worldwide recognising the achievements and contributions of Disabled people. Through our local event in Richmond we want to bring together people to showcase the skills, abilities, contributions and achievements of Disabled people. This year’s theme is Leadership.
Everyone nominated gets celebrated! The Time to Shine Awards ceremony will be held on Thursday 3rd December 2026 on the International Day of Disabled People, at an accessible venue in Twickenham.
We want to hear about people who are making a difference in their own way, either through a campaign, volunteering in their community, supporting their friends, creating art, taking part in sport or simply making life better for the people around them. We want to celebrate achievements – big and small!
